My final stop on this tour has arrived! It's so sad! If you want to catch up what's happened so far, you can read the first post here, and the second one here. But let's not dwell in the past, shall we! It's time to embrace the future and embark on the journey of Emergence!
Emergence by Rachel E. Fisher
"I promise you, Sean. We're going to stop them."
The pieces on the board are in motion and with both sides gathering strength, each move will be critical. When the Truthers make a play for checkmate, the Seeders are forced to respond. Fi and her companions will face greater challenges and higher stakes than ever before, because this time if they fail, it's for keeps.

I am a wife and entrepreneur living and working in Florida. I am also a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where I majored in Biology. It was always my assumption that I would end up making research my life. Though it did not work out that way in the end, my passion for Biology remains intact.
I have always loved biology-based science-fiction and the young adult genre. It is in this vein that I offer my work.

Sadly, I do not have a review today, due to the fact that I actually can't read all three of these books in three days with the amount of free time that I've had recently. I'll do my best to get the third review up soon, but until then, you'll just have to stare longingly at the cover of Emergence.
In the mean time, I have a very important food related piece of information to share with you. In yesterday's post, I told you why I really don't like to cook that often, and that really the only exception is desserts. Well, there just so happens to be one website that I get practically all of my recipes from, and that is Chocolate Covered Katie.
Katie is amazing! All of her recipes are vegan, and even though I'm not one, it tends to make them really healthy compared to other versions. She likes to make a lot of copycat recipes with well known treats that actually lead you along the short road towards heart failure. Even though her versions are a lot better for you, they still taste just as awesome!
My personal favorite recipe is actually not one of her copycat recipes, but something she came up with on her own. It's a deep-dish cookie pie. So what's the catch? IT'S MADE OUT OF CHICKPEAS! I personally can't stand either the taste or the smell of those little brown nuggets, so I was a little apprehensive, but eventually I gave in to all of the praise it was given on her website and decided to try it. I swear, you can't even tell that they're in there! It just tastes like a really moist and really thick cookie. They best part is that I'm actually allowed to eat a lot of it at once!
If you're interested (which you should be by now!) then you can find the original recipe here and the no-sugar added version (which I haven't actually tried yet) here.
