Looking Back.... and Forward #12

It's interesting how this meme has sort of turned into an early warning system for my level of activity that will come later in the week. If the post shows up on time, scheduled for midnight on the day before, then you'll probably see a lot of me, maybe even a review or two. If it does show up on Sunday, but a little later in the day than I would like (like today), then I'm not going to be totally absent, but there will be a few unfortunate, empty days.

Now, if this post never shows up at all, then we know there's a problem. I've probably been taken over by the crazy busy whirlwind of life and am still trying to desperately crawl out of it's clutches. Just picture me dragging myself out of a tornado by my nails, only to be sucked back in. Yeah. That's sounds about like what those weeks have felt like. I can't say that I'm proud, but if I really knew how to "make time" like I wish I could, then I'd probably be the richest person on this great Earth.

Alas, my formula hasn't quite shown the promise that I wished it would, so I guess I'll just have to keep waiting. In the mean time, here is my sort of late but still on time post to start off this week!

Looking Back.... and Forward #11

Okay, so I'm tentatively (remember that word, tentatively) saying that the crazies may start to be winding down right around now. My free time still isn't exactly where I would like it to be yet, but I think we're getting there. Hopefully that means that, within the next few weeks, my presence here should start to be picking up to more acceptable levels. I've got a few reviews that I'll be writing soon, so that's something. At the very least, we've still got this and the already scheduled tour funsies for this week, so I won't go completely missing. Either way, I should probably get around to what I'm actually supposed to be doing now, which is writing this post!

Looking Back.... and Foward #10

Yeah, I know that this is a day late, and I'm very sorry about that. At least it's still here, though! And it's the tenth one I've published so far! Hopefully that means something too.

Oh, and before I go on, I have a book to talk about that completely embodies the theme of these posts. I can't believe I seriously missed this book's release! I've been watching it like a hawk for months, but somehow it managed to slip by me! I'm pretty sure my heart almost stopped beating when I saw that it had already been released. Better yet, I wouldn't be surprised if I'd been abducted by aliens and they temporarily erased my memory of this book's release date. There really is no other explanation. I've been waiting for this book for multiple years, and Tamora Pierce is probably my favorite author of all time.
